A 'Lax Out Cancer' Recipient Family Needs Our Help
Dear Family and Friends,
One of our Lax Out Cancer recipients is in a dire situation and desperately needs our help. This family, whose name respectfully will remain private, is in jeopardy of becoming homeless. As loyal tenants, they paid their rent every month in a timely fashion for years, never knowing that the home they were living in was in foreclosure. Their landlord had been accepting their rent money, yet was not paying the mortgage on the home for over two years. Without notice, this beautiful family is now faced with the burden of finding a home to rent within weeks, possibly days.
There is a group of community members who are rallying behind this special family in hopes of finding them a home they can afford to rent in the same school district. The prospect looks good, but they need funding to make this possible….and time is of the essence! Please consider making a donation!
