This fundraiser has become an annual event. It has attracted more attention, volunteers, and contributors. Last year’s Lax out Cancer event raised over $71,000 and helped four families with children whose lives have been devastated by this terrible disease.
This year the event involves 4 games and 4 different school districts. In the past, the event has been covered by MSG Varsity, News 12, Newsday, 96.1 FM, and local papers. The event is a fun filled day for a great cause. Lax Out Cancer is a great opportunity for College lacrosse teams, travel teams, camps, and Lacrosse merchandisers to advertise their respective programs to a targeted market while giving back to communities which have contributed to their success. An event journal is given out to each fan that pays admission. We would greatly appreciate your support through a donation of any kind.
