Our own SWR JV Boys Coach, Brian Baker has provided art work for the front and back of the T-Shirts which will be offered for sale the day of the event, allowing us to raise more funds.
Liam is ten years old. He was diagnosed just after turning 7 with a rare form of leukemia. He endured 38 + months of chemotherapy which included 10 month of very high dose chemotherapy. Thankfully Liam is in remission and will be closely watched for 5 more years. He has been through so much at such a young age, but always takes it in stride.

Once again, the Shoreham-Wading River Community is hosting the Lax-Out-Cancer fundraiser on April 26, 2014 at SWR High School. The SWR Varsity Boys Lacrosse will welcome back the Mt. Sinai lacrosse team and their families and the Girls will welcome Bellport. The funds raised will go to “Make a Wish Foundation” and to local families who are battling this terrible disease. One of our recipients will be Shoreham's Liam McGuire. Liam has been battling Leukemia for several years now and has shown incredible bravery and strength.
